Heavy Duty Diaphragm Level Controls

The new BM 100 Heavy Duty Diaphragm Switch is designed to meet the requirements of rugged applications that may present a challenge to other level control devices.

It features extremely durable construction, and simple mechanical operation.

The BM 100 is particularly well suited for low and high level indication of extremely heavy and/or abrasive materials. This unit is unaffected by dust, conductivity, moisture, and temperature fluctuations.

The contact surface is 3mm polyethylene and is extremely abrasion resistant. The mounting plate and enclosure are heavy duty cast aluminium.

• Minimum 720kg/m3 bulk density. The unit features an adjustable spring for a wide range of bulk densities, but at least 4kg of pressure is required to activate the switch

Diaphragm Level Controls

BinMaster diaphragms provide automatic level indication of free flowing dry materials in high, intermediate and low level applications. They are designed for use in internal, external and explosive proof installations.

The unit operates by sensing material pressing against the diaphragm. This actuates a sensitive micro switch which can be wired to actuate a visual or audible alarm, or a stop / start process.
