AccuTech Weighing Services, founded in 1991, is now the largest automatic weighing equipment supplier to the grain milling industry in Southern Africa. AccuTech locally manufacture a range of weighing equipment such as process weighers, high speed bagging machines, batch mixing control and blending systems, and a mill monitoring system. They also supply the Palamatic range of lifting and bag slitting equipment, and the BinMaster range of level control equipment.

Turnkey projects are also undertaken including weighing, material storage and transfer, automatic bag placing, and palletizing.

Systems are installed throughout South Africa, neighbouring states, and the United Kingdom. Technical support is available 24hrs from the Randburg head office, and also from distributors in Durban and Cape Town.

Whilst the companies’ main focus over the last few years has been in the milling industry, equipment has also been supplied to fertilizer, chemical and similar industries. A recent addition to the AccuTech Group of companies is AccuFab Engineering. AccuFab manufacture the metal fabrications for AccuTech and are also developing their own lines of materials handling equipment.

Regular training courses are run at the Randburg office for customer’s maintenance and operation staff, which have proved very popular.
